7 Teknik

7 Techniques To Make Cold Hard Cash In A Week - Online!

Let’s say for the sake of this post that you woke up this morning and found yourself without a job and just enough money on-hand to last a week before the Wolf came calling at your door. Let’s also pretend you know nothing or very little about internet marketing or affiliate programs.

Could you make extra cash online in a week to buy your Family’s groceries? Could you make enough money to pay your electric bill?

Believe it or not, many people find their self in this situation or one very close to it every day.

Here are 7 Techniques you could use to put some cash in your pocket within a week working online.

  1. Project Payday - As an experiment one day, I tried Project Payday just to see how long it would take me to make extra cash. It was free to join so I signed up at their website, downloaded and watched the training video’s they provided. I followed the directions for getting set up to a ‘T’. All total, between the sign up, watching training video’s and implementing the instructions, took me a little over 2 hours. I then spent about half a day just browsing and reading to get a feel of how this program worked. I then put my name out as being available for some “jobs” and I made $50 by the end of the first day. Next day I put about 6 hours into the program and made over $200 total. They have a $100 guarantee that states that if you follow the simple 4 step process and do not make money in the first 24 hours, they’ll give you $100. Pretty cut and dried and the best guarantee I’ve seen. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a get rich quick scheme. You’ll have to work at it but you can earn money quickly. I personally found it very tedious though! I’m not cut out to spend long stretches at the computer. You can sign up for free with Project Payday and get started today by clicking here. It’s one of the few legitimate, yet quick ways to earn extra money online that I’ve found.
  2. Read Emails - Taking Online Survey’s, etc: In my opinion, this isn’t as easy as Project Payday, but it’s real close. There are companies that receive thousands of emails every day that need to be read. Obviously the CEO or other employees can’t spend every day reading emails, so they outsource this. There are several companies where they outsource this type of work as well as other tedious, time consuming chores such as product testing, online surveys, online mystery shopping and other. Send Earnings is one such company that other companies outsource to. Consumers such as you sign up and are normally paid on a per assignment completed basis. The pay varies by what type of assignment you choose. You choose where you want to make money. Click Here to learn more or to sign up for this opportunity.
  3. Become a Freelance Writer. It’s easier than you might think and you don’t need to be an English major to make money with this. In fact, it’s probably better if you’re not! You can sell your articles at Forums like DigitalPoint Forums and SitePoint Forums. Each has a market place. Don’t expect to make a killing here but you can make some extra cash. If you really want to ramp up your earnings from Writing, then I’d suggest signing up for a service like Freelance Home Writers. This is a service like a job board where you log in to see what kind of Writing Jobs are available. Some will have the prices they are willing to pay for articles, some won’t. There’s also a couple of other benefits to signing up for their service. Check them out if you’d like to make money from home Writing.
  4. One word. Ebay. There are so many ways to make money with ebay that it isn’t funny. Ebay has allowed many people who would not have been able to support their self or their Families to make more than enough money to live well. One technique that I used when I was between jobs many years ago was to visit Garage sales and Estate auctions and buy products to sell on ebay. You have have a good idea what something is worth in order for this to work. Looking at something and saying “Oh, this looks like it’s valuable” isn’t good enough. You’ll wind up with a house full of junk! One way I tripled the amount of money I made with ebay was to learn how the Power Sellers made money. I found that many of them used dropshippers and Wholesalers. I signed up for a FREE starter kit called Ebay For Dummies (I think I had to pay $2 for shipping and handling). This “starter kit” had loads and loads of great information in it that helped me make a lot of money with ebay, including lists of Dropshippers and Wholesalers. If you’re serious about making money with Ebay, then you need to get your hands on this starter kit called Ebay For Dummies.
  5. Are you a Photographer? There are several freelance photography websites on the Internet where you can sell your photo’s. You don’t have to be a Professional either. Just as long as your photo’s are clear and eye catching, you can sell them on sites like iStockPhoto.com. There’s a huge demand for stock photography and illustrations. You might as well get your share of the cash! There’s also a huge market for other types of photo’s, but I’ll let you figure those out for yourself ;)
  6. Sell your Service. Do you know how to use a specific program inside and out? Can you take QuickBooks or any of the MS Office programs and make them beg for mercy? Then you have skills that are in need. Places such as eLance, RentACoder and others have forums set up to help you sell your services. Some of these pay really well also, they’re worth checking out if you need some quick cash!
  7. Set up a local directory site. I’m telling you people something right now. I think the future of the Internet is in the local markets. Remember when the Internet got off the ground and the buzz word was “Think Globally?” I’m going to tell you now to “Think Locally!” You treat your local market like a Niche, which it is. Build a Niche site about your local area and charge advertising or use Adsense. The best training I’ve seen is over at The Keyword Academy. Court’s course takes you through everything you’ll need to know to set up a profitable Niche site. From finding the right keywords, to setting up Wordpress to learning how and WHERE to get backlinks, it’s all there. I paid $597 for this course and I can honestly say this is one of the few legitimate courses about learning how to make money online that you’ll find. I earned my money back in a very short time
  8. Update: Court has since opened up the Keyword Crash Course as a subscription based model. Now anyone can sign up for just $1, take a look at the Training video’s (everything I paid $597!) and ask questions. If you decide to become a subscriber, then you’ll get new training each month, free webinars, forums and a lot more. Click here to learn more and take advantage of this offer for $1.

Whether you’re a college student needed a few extra bucks for the keg party, a stay at home Mom who needs some extra cash for the heating bill or just found out your company doesn’t need your services any longer, you can use the techniques above to help bring home the bacon.

There is no reason anyone has to lay back and go broke. I’ve known people who were dead ass broke and would not lift a finger to do anything except complain about being out of a job and having no money.

There are opportunities all around us to make money online. It’s up to you to get up and do it though, no one else will do all the work!

Some online entrepreneurs have used the above techniques plus others to start part time cash businesses and grew them into small fortunes. You don’t have to become the next Donald Trump, but there is no reason why you can’t make extra cash online to live off of if you had to.
What are some ways you’ve made quick cash from the Internet in your local market?

So you want to make money blogging?

If you are trying to make money blogging, you need to first realize that you are among millions of people doing the same thing. At last estimate, there were 45 million active websites. The average number of pages per website was around 1,500. You can do the math and realize that to get noticed on the Internet is not a small task. And that's just to get noticed. Once you have traffic, it is no guarantee that you will make money as well. Getting traffic and getting conversions from your traffic (i.e., sales) are very different things.

When blogging hit the scene, I think it was a popular belief that this fundamentally changed the rules of ecommerce. Now anyone could hang up their blog and call themselves a blogger. Once their blog was functional, the masses would flock to hear what they had to say and the money would start pouring in. Perhaps those days did exist briefly at the beginning of the blogging craze. Perhaps. But I will be the first one to tell you that they are long gone. If you are brand new to blogging, please read this again. For all of you others who are here because you have learned this the hard way, keep reading.

So what are the secrets to make money blogging online these days? I've done my best to scare you into understanding that the money will not come easy. But if you are still reading, you are probably still interested. Well the first secret to make money blogging is to understand that there really is no BIG SECRET. I see so many people running around the forums looking for the magic answer. I understand. I feel into that a bit myself when I started online. There is just so much hype out there, it's easy to think "well, I just don't know the big secret." Again: There is NO BIG SECRET.

Making money online is a long, hard struggle. It's really starting your own business. Even at a very small scale, blogging for money is a small business. You will have revenue (Adwords and other advertising opportunities) and you will have expenses (hosting, advertising, link-building). What other business in the world would someone try to start with absolutely no money? And if they did, most people would think they were crazy and doomed to failure.

So I doubt this was the kind of post you were looking for as you searched for ways to make money blogging. But it is the kind of post you needed to hear, trust me. You can get into the tactical stuff (selecting your niche, writing good quality, search engine optimization, link building, pay per click and all the rest) only after you have your head on right about what blogging is and what blogging isn't. I see this more out of alignment around the issue of making money than anywhere else.

Affiliate marketing with NO money ( Gratis )

Maybe the single greatest part about affiliate marketing is the incredibly low initial investment you need to start earning money for yourself. All you really need is a website. That’s it. There are so many FREE programs out there that will walk you though basic web design, even if you know nothing about it, you can be up and running in the span on a day. All that’s left at this point is finding an affiliate marketing program to subscribe to.

Here are a few tips about starting up your affiliate marketing campaign today!

• There are tens of thousands of affiliate marketing programs you can subscribe to. The list is essentially limitless. An important piece of advice, though, is that if an affiliate marketing program wants you to pay money to sign up, you might want to think twice. Unless the initial investment is very small, there are many other choices that you could make. You see, almost all affiliate marketing programs are FREE! That’s right, you read that right. FREE! And not only that, but some of the big time programs will even train you and give you tips on the right keywords to put on your webpage so random web surfers will find you, click on your link, buy a product and earn you money! Unless you really want to be part of an affiliate marketing program that charges money, don’t do it. There are thousands that are free.

• Don’t use a low-quality internet provider. This can be a tough choice for those looking at keeping their costs at zero or as close to zero as possible. But your local full Internet Service Provider is going to do a better job of hosting your new money making website then some free site that crashes all the time. Your new web site is a money-making machine for you, don’t trust it to a company that isn’t going to do everything they can to make sure it’s up and running 24/7. You probably pay for an internet connection in your home already, and with your basic Internet account, you get web space. Use it and rest easy knowing that your website is in good hands.

As you can see, there are a few ins and outs to affiliate marketing that everyone needs to know. But the key here is the fact that you can earn money with almost no work involved. Just make a website, write some snappy content and set up your links and then sit back, relax and count your money.

Here are few sites to allow you to earn money without spending money: ( you can see on below my blog ).

Tips on Choosing Good Domain Name #.1

Tips on Choosing a Good Domain Name
by Christopher Heng, thesitewizard.com

Before you rush out and choose your domain name or name your website, you might want to consider the following points:

1. Your Domain Name Should Be Your Website Name

Naming your site after your domain may seem obvious to some of you, but you'll be surprised to learn that not every website is named after the domain name even when the webmaster owns that domain name.

Naming a site after its domain name is important, for the simple reason that when people think of your website, they'll think of it by name. If your name is also your URL, they'll automatically know where to go. For example, when people think of thefreecountry.com, they don't have to wonder what URL to type into their browser to get there. The name of the site is also the URL.

Imagine if your business (or website) is called "Acme", but somebody else holds that domain name. Instead, you have some obscure domain name called, say, "mybusiness.com". What happens when your customers, recalling that Acme has a product they want, type "www.acme.com"? They'll wind up at your competitor's website. One lost sale.

In the modern world of the Internet, where people automatically turn to the Web for information, it pays to have a domain name that reflects your site or business. There are just fewer things for your customers or visitors to remember. Moreover, you don't seriously think that they'll try to memorise an unrelated URL just because you want them to, do you? The only people who'll memorise it are you and your competitors who want to compare your prices.

What if you cannot get the domain name of your choice? It really depends on how committed you are to that particular name. If you have an existing brand name that you're known for, you'll probably not want to ditch that name just because you couldn't get the domain name. After all, it took you a lot of time and money to establish that name. If so, you might simply want to try to buy over the domain name from the current owner. Check up the "whois" information for the domain, and contact that person listed to see if they're willing to sell it. You probably should be aware that they are likely to want to charge a higher fee than you'll normally get when buying new domains (assuming they want to sell it in the first place).

On the other hand, if you're just starting out, you might prefer the cheaper alternative of trying to obtain a domain name first, and then naming your website (or business) after the domain that you've acquired. So if you've acquired, say, the domain name "acme.com", then your website and business might be named "Acme" or "acme.com". I know this seems a bit like putting the cart before the horse, but that's the reality if you don't want to lose out on the Internet

5 Tips For Writing

5 Tips for Writing an Advertisement

For an advertisement to be effective, it should be able to catch the readers’ attention, keep them curious for more, and lead them to buy the advertised product. You can write effective ads by following these five short tips.

1. Use Short Sentences
Long sentences will not sell your ad, let alone your product. People’s attention span tends to drift fast these days, so don’t bore your readers with long sentences. Instead, be direct and to the point.

2. Use Different Sentence Structures
Do not be afraid to be creative in your writing. Employ different sentence structures within your ad to keep your readers interested. The more varied your presentation is, the less boring your ad becomes.

3. Keep Your Ad Short
You don’t have to cram all the information you have into your ad. On the other hand, your ad should make your readers curious and leave them wanting more. Short ads will accomplish this for you.

4. Close With a Statement That Calls Your Reader to Action
If the opening statement needs to catch attention, the closing statement should call your readers to action. It should be written creatively enough so that the readers will be interested to know more about your product and buy it.

5. Re-Read and Rewrite as Necessary

After you have written your ad, read it again. Proofread your writing and rewrite as necessary. The proofreading stage is just as important as the writing stage because having errors in your ad easily destroys your credibility. Most people ignore ads that have grammatical errors. If you are not an expert in English proofreading and editing, then you can employ the help of English editing software.

Acesories Bloging

As we put together new posts for our business blog, our main focus, time and effort is centred on what appears in the middle of the screen, the place where we write and display the content for our readers. It’s the key area and it’s right that the effort we put in reflects this.
Use your sidebars to your advantage

Nevertheless, there is more to a successful business blog than just the writing. We have specific goals for it and we need to both maintain and direct our readers’ interest to what those business goals are. The blog posts will do a lot of this work but there is also a lot that can be achieved by careful use of both the sidebars and the header of a blog. Some of this will be to highlight our own services/products, others will help readers find other posts or pages in the blog and others will highlight certain aspects that we want to encourage them to look at.

They play key roles in achieving our blog’s aims and the sidebars are “prime real estate” on the blog which we need to use effectively. We may find that a single sidebar works best for us, however, wider screen sizes that are now the norm give us the opportunity to include two sidebars without compromising the area displaying our main content. More area to work with! However, what we put in them and the order they appear are important considerations which combine good blog design and achieving our business goals.
Many options - here are just some!

There are lots of different options that could be used (and space is after all limited) but here are some ideas which you might like to consider as you develop your blog:

* Contact Details: could be on a separate page linked to from the sidebar but should be prominent. It’s no good someone liking your work and then not being able to contact you!

* Author Profile: blogs are personal so it’s important to let your readers gain an insight of the blogger whose posts and articles they are reading. Give them an overview of who you are and what you do, then let your writing fill in the gaps;

* Purpose of blog: it’s often a good idea to give readers a snapshot of why you are writing the blog and what you want to achieve with it - it can help to give context to the posts and encourage them to read further and pass it on;

* Promotion of future events: if you are running seminars, courses or presentations, then this would be a great place to make your readers aware of them and promote them to them;

* Promotion of products and/or services: in the same way as you might promote your events, then you can also make them aware by linking through to your products or services and introducing them (in an appropriate fashion!);

* Social Networking profiles: with the proliferation of social media sites and networking groups such as Linkedin, Twitter, del.icio.us etc. links to your own profiles on each of these platforms helps promote your presence on them;

* Photo of the author: taking the idea of blogs being personal one step further. Let them see what you look like! Make it relevant to the tone of your blog, though.

* Most commented posts: one possible way of demonstrating what has created most interest with your readers and inspired most comments;

* Last 5 posts: let people have easy access to your latest posts. This is particularly good on the individual post pages rather than the main blog page where, of course, the most recent posts are generally visible;

* Recent comments: whether you show the last 5 or last 10, let people see who is commenting and on which posts. Additionally, it can act as a small “thank you” to those who have taken the time to leave comments as well as inspire others to do so;

* Recommended sites: a list of sites that you are recommending to your readers as being well worth visiting. Adds value and helps make your blog a central resource of information;

* RSS Subscription (RSS reader and email): you’ll want to encourage readers to sign up to receive your regular blog updates, so make it clearly visible and make sure that they can do so via email too! Not everyone loves RSS (unfortunately).

* Newsletter Signup box: you should be running a newsletter in conjunction with your blog (there’s great complementary value) so explain what it offers and then get the signup box clearly visible;

* Categories: one of the key structural elements and a principal tool in navigating your blog is through the categories, generally divided along main topic lines. Make them visible and keep them to 10 or 12 [unlike me :( ];

* Monthly archives: again a key structural element of a blog though probably less used by readers now;

* Search: the search box should be a standard feature on every blog so make sure it’s easily accessible and that it will look through both posts and pages;

* Tags / Tag Cloud: a way to demonstrate the areas that the blog focuses on and a second navigation method to supplement the categories;

* Testimonials: either testimonials or even customer logos can be a good way to link through to case studies or project overviews as well as showing the range of clients you work with;

* RSS Feeds from other sites: bring in relevant industry news from other sites can be a good way to add specific information to your blog - and of course it’s all automatic;

* Polls / Surveys: conduct your own poll on a topic relevant to your blog. Helps increase the interactive element and should provide you with some useful information as well;

* Favourite books: recommended books which will interest your target audience, perhaps linked through to Amazon with or without affiliate code in the links;

* Adverts: if you are looking to monetise your blog then adverts will feature prominently … but remember the distraction value;

* Industry News: perhaps using the RSS feeds as suggested previously or using other inputs.

As you can see, there are wide variety of elements that you can place in the sidebar or sidebars of your blog and this is probably only scraping the surface. What you place there and the order you show them will depend very much on the goals that you have for your blog, though, so choose wisely.

7 Top Bloging Monetization

This list reviews my preference starting from the best to the least effective monetization methods I have implemented on my blogs. Note the list is entirely representative of my experience and I believe what monetization methods work depends heavily on the topic you blog about and consequently the type of reader you attract. This is why, as you will see, my list differs from Chad’s, although I do agree with him that AdSense is at the bottom of the heap.

The important thing is to test and find out what works best for you. Don’t assume because something is best for someone else’s blog that is the case for all blogs.

1. Recursive Affiliate Income

If you are on my early notification list for Blog Mastermind you already know why I love recursive affiliate income. Affiliate marketing is great because you sell something and you don’t have to deliver any product or provide customer service. With commissions as high as 75% you can run an online business that never produces anything, all on the back of affiliate marketing.

Recursive programs are the best type of affiliate program. When you sell a continuity product - something people pay for on a regular basis to maintain their membership - you are also paid an affiliate commission on a regular basis. If you build up enough recursive affiliate sales you can secure a stable income source.

As an example, I don’t just recommend programs like StomperNet because they are great products backed by real experts (which StomperNet is), but also because they have recursive affiliate programs. When a person signs up under my affiliate ID I make a commission every time they are charged to maintain their membership.

In your case you might have to look around to find relevant continuity products with affiliate programs to promote on your blog, but it’s well worth it.

2. Direct Ad Sales

Chad called this fixed monthly sponsors, which is exactly what I do as well and I agree with him, it’s a fantastic way to monetize a blog. There are no middlemen to take some of your profits and you can maximize the return on investment of your advertising inventory.

I’ve been selling banners off of my websites for eight years and it’s always been a consistent earner. Lately text links have become more popular, but it really doesn’t matter what the format is, it’s all about providing value to sponsors. In my experience I’ve usually had a small handful of sponsors who remain regulars and buy my ad inventory on a repeat basis. They see the value in this advertising medium and I appreciate the regular source of income.

If you don’t have one already, the first step for attracting sponsors is to set up an advertise page. Take a look at my advertise page as a good simple example to follow.

If an advertise page doesn’t translate into sponsors, and this might be the case if your blog is small or new, you will need to be proactive and look for sponsors yourself. I did this many years ago on a hobby site about the card game Magic: The Gathering. To locate sponsors I found all the most prominent online retailers that sold the game and emailed them to see if they would be interested in sponsoring my site. The end result was one advertiser coming on board and sponsoring the site for four straight years and others coming on for many months at a time.

I have always sold ads on a per month basis, but you can do per impression (CPM) or per click or even per lead. I once tried per-click for banners but unless you charge something ridiculous like $1 a click you don’t make much. Banners are simply not good for direct traffic in my experience and are better used as combination branding/exposure tool to associate your company in the minds of the people in a certain industry. That way, when they do come to decide they need something that your company provides, thanks to seeing your banners everywhere, they remember you as a provider of that product/service (in other words - effective branding). But I digress…

3. Text-Link-Ads.com Brokering Service

Text-Link-Ads
is a very well known text link broker that connects advertisers with publishers who are paid to place text links on their site. The Text-Link-Ads service acts as the middleman company, taking a cut of the revenue in exchange for sourcing the sponsors for you.

From a blogger’s perspective this is a very low-maintenance monetization method. You install the plug-in, assuming you are a WordPress blogger, add a line of code to your theme template for where you want the text links to appear and then sit back and let Text-Link-Ads do the work. It’s been a proven income source for me now for many months, and while it’s not a massive return, a consistent $500-$700 a month is nice to have.

For smaller bloggers Text-Link-Ads is still an option, just don’t expect to earn a significant return or sell all your ad inventory until you increase your traffic and pagerank.

4. One Time Affiliate Income

Affiliate income takes position number four on my list too but the difference to recursive affiliate income is that this time I’m talking about products that pay out once, each time you make a sale. In this case the money isn’t quite as dependable as recursive programs since you need to keep selling in order to generate revenue, however some products have large payouts and just one sale can make it worth while.

I find there are two types of products that have sold well for me as an affiliate. The once-a-year big events like conferences and workshops, which pay out commissions ranging from $100 - $1000 depending on the cost of a ticket. I don’t usually sell many of these, but with such a high commission just one or two ticket sales can be enough. About two years ago I promoted Perry Marshall’s conference which cost $2000 to get into and he paid a $750 affiliate commission. I only sold two tickets, but that $1500 was more than I had generated in the previous year of blogging.

The other good seller is staple products, things people in my industry eventually buy. Most industries have a seminal book or a service you can’t do without (for example web hosting) and if you review these products and mention them now and then you usually can sell a few on a regular basis. Perry Marshall again makes a good example again, with his $49 Definitive Guide to Google AdWords ebook, a solid repeat seller since if you intend to do AdWords campaigns you must have this book.

No doubt in your industry there are must-have products or services that you can review and recommend as an affiliate, just make sure the margins make it worthwhile. Try the Clickbank catalog if you are stuck for affiliate products to promote or just think back over the last few purchases you made online related to your blog topic and see if there is an affiliate program for them.

5. Paid Reviews

I’ve almost stopped doing paid reviews recently, but I still think the ReviewMe service is a great way to start earning from blogging. In previous months it has been a consistent $300+ income source, but frankly I’m moving away from income sources that require output from me directly to generate. Since you have to write the review to get paid it’s far from the kind of passive or near-passive income sources I prefer, even if it does pay out $125 per review in my case.

6. Google AdSense

Google AdSense has never been a favorite monetization strategy for me. It forces you to focus on increasing pageviews and thus AdSense displays in order to earn more, which is a labor-for-income relationship, which I try and avoid. The payments are very low and unless you blog in certain product categories even high traffic sites earn peanuts.

That being said, AdSense is fantastic on sites that have user-generated content and thus traffic, because you can set it up and let Google handle the optimization. There’s almost always a higher-paying method to monetize, but sometimes the simplicity of AdSense is appealing.

7. Miscellaneous Programs

There are many other options, including ad brokering services like ChitikaGet Chitika Premium
, BlogAds, AdBrite

, AdVolcano ,Amazon and Blogkits. Some of these I briefly tested but did not like their system or my current monetization methods pay more.

This will show you what the ad would look like to a user who is interested in "mortgages." -->

Again, these options might be fantastic for your blog but you won’t know until you try. However in almost all cases, if you sell ads directly to sponsors you make more, it just might be harder to manage and initially procure the sponsors, especially for small and new blogs.

Basic Application in Your PC

Which applications do bloggers use daily? Using right applications not only helps you to work easily, but also increase the effectiveness, performance of work and save a lot of time for you. This is a list of essential applications that many bloggers use daily.
1. MS Word

This application should be very popular for Windows bloggers. You can use it to write your new post in draft before format it in a WYSIWYG application. A very handy and convenient feature of MS Word is the spelling and grammar checker. The mistake will be underlined in red (spelling) or green (grammar) right away when it appears, so you just right click on the wrong word and choose a solution from the suggested list in the pop up menu. OpenOffice or AbiWord can be the alternates, but MS Word is still the best word-processor for bloggers.

2. Kompozer

After composing your post in MS Word, you then may want to format it in Kompozer – a small, free and efficient WYSIWYG editor. Is there any need of a big, professional and so expensive WYSIWYG like DreamWeaver for a usual blogger? Use smart apps, not your wallet! Besides, you can edit CSS and Javascript right in Kompozer; and Kompozer can be run as a portable application which means you can copy it to your USB and run on any computers without installing.

3. Babylon

Babylon is so necessary for everyone especially if you are blogging in a foreign language like me. Just hold Ctrl and Right click (you can set this yourself in the Preference) on the word to look up, a new window appears with the meaning and description of that word for you. Other best alternates are Lingoes, StarDict which are free and easy to use.

4. WordWeb

It is probably a dictionary like Babylon, but it’s only for English, especially for writing. You can look up for the synonym or acronym of a word, the way to use or common expressions about it. You will find WordWeb useful to mix up your content with different words, expressions in order to avoid the boring writing.

5. Notepad++

So which application is absolute right when you just edit a small JavaScript code? Notepad++, which is a small, free and open source text editor, should be your first choice. All codes are format in right styles which helps you write easier, faster and of course less errors. Besides, UltraEdit can be another good choice.

6. Memokeys

Tired of typing the same things day by day like in the comment form or greetings in social media networks, Memokeys is a useful genius for these tasks. Just assign a text with a shortcut like F1 + 1, then in a textbox you simply press that shortcut, the assigned text will appear there. It saves you a lot of time from typing same stuff everyday.

7. Roboform

This application also helps you save time like Memokeys, but it helps you to fill in the form automatically. It is very useful and handy when you register a new account or submitting your blog to a directory. Just set up the detail information which will be use to fill into the form, then on the page you simply click on the button in Roboform toolbar, all textboxes will be filled automatically without any effort from you.

8. Typing Assistant

You will be a rabbit typist using Typing Assistant even actually you type as slow as a turtle. Simply type some first letters of a word, and then select the complete word in a pop up suggested list menu. Typing Assistant is really intelligent because it will learn your typing habit in order to increase the performance. The more you use it, the faster you type.

9. Pidgin

Not like usual web users who are just use IM application to connect and chat with friends or relatives in a small location. Bloggers need to communicate with all people around the world and they are using many different IM services (e.g. Yahoo, GTalk, AIM, MSN, etc). So Pidgin should be included to your daily applications because it supports many different common IM protocols and easy to use. Miranda is a good alternate while Meebo is also good even it is a web-based application.

10. Firefox

This application should be the first item in the list of your daily application. Like many computer users, browser must be the important and indispensable application on bloggers’ computer. And Firefox is one of the best browsers for bloggers. It is fast, free, safe and powerful with tons of add-on to extend its function. Besides, Opera and IE should also be included on your computer to test your blog design on them or to use in some complicated situations like signing multiple Google accounts at the same time.

11. Snarfer

Reading feed becomes an indispensable task of many bloggers and there are more and more feed readers on the market. Snarfer is one of the best of them because of the ease to use and the lightweight installation. You may also use Google Reader which can be used to read feed in the web and on the go (Google provides the version for mobile which you can read your feed right on your cell phone).

12. XnView

Instead of struggling with complicated layers of Photoshop or other big and professional photo editor, you would prefer to use XnView in order to edit basically images for your new post. XnView is free and really powerful enough to do basic functions like resize an image, remove red eyes, drop shadow or convert to different graphic format. You may use XnView to view various formats of graphic file. PhotoScape is a good alternate which is also free and easy to use.

13. Photoshop

It is really easy and quick to do basic editions to images using XnView. However, there are some times the situation is so complicated that only Photoshop can do. With a list of powerful and flexible applications, you can do anything you want to your image. Gimp is a free photo editor application which can be a good replacement to Photoshop, but the resource for it is not as much as Photoshop’s.

14. ThunderBird

ThunderBird is a great desktop email client for all bloggers especially if you are using multiple emails. Like Firefox, you can extend the power of ThunderBird by using many add-ons. Moreover, the filter function of ThunderBird is really cool and flexible so that you can manage your email messages the smartest way.

15. TreePad

You can manage and organize your personal information, to-do list or task in a tree view using TreePad, which is a small and efficient application. All information in a TreePad file is really like a XML file which you can store data in nodes and every node can have child nodes. It may take a little while to understand and use TreePad. Once you master it, you will see the improvement of your work performance.

16. FreeMind

Free your mind with FreeMind, a mind mapping application which helps to visualize ideas in your mind. Simply brainstorm your ideas and map them using FreeMind, then the application will help you clarify your mind and know exactly what and how to write your post. XMind is another cool desktop mind mapping application or if you want to collaborate with other using mind maps, MindMeister is a good one

Creating Permaling in Blogger

What are Permalinks?

Permalinks tell a lot about the page it points to. One can read out the article name in the status bar of the browser when hovering over the permalink (by the way, permalinks are the permanent links to every post page which usually contains the title of the post). Search engines use permalinks to categorize the posts. Browsers use permalinks to navigate to remote pages.
How are they created …

Permalinks are generated automatically by your Blogging platform based on the Title of the post.
… in Wordpress?

Wordpress uses the whole of the title with white spaces replaced by ” - ” (hyphen) as its permalink. For instance the permalink of this post reads http://themelib.com/2009/01/how-to-rank-higher-in-google-creating-customized-permalinks-in-blogger.

Wordpress also lets you edit the permalink and make it read the way we like. This feature is extremely useful when you give fancy titles to your post. Such titles which are not self explanatory does not give any idea to a search bot regarding the content of the post. In Wordpress this can be edited so that, what the user reads and what the Search bot reads can be different.
… in Blogger?

Unfortunately, Blogger users are left with no option, but to accept the permalink automatically awarded to them. There is no option to customize permalinks. Blogger just takes the first few characters of the title (somewhere between 35 and 40) and makes a permalink which might be incomplete at times. For a post with the title, “The Advantages and Disadvantages of using a customized permalink every time”, the permalink will be something like http://themelib.com/2008/10/the-advantages-and-disadvantages-of/
What should I do?

Luckily we have come up with an idea to customize the permalink. The method is called “Publish and Republish method”. This is illustrated using the above example (”The advantages and disadvantages of using a customized permalink every time”)

* Since Blogger permits only 35 to 40 characters in its permalink, find a short title for the post. For instance, ‘Analysis of Customized Permalinks’ can be a short title for the same post.
* Publish the post with this short title. Now the permalink will read http://themelib.com/2008/10/analysis-of-customized-permalinks/
* Blogger does not change its permalink even if we change the title of the post in future. We exploit this limitation of Blogger here. Edit the post (Manage posts -> Edit) and change the title to ‘The Advantages and Disadvantages of using a customized permalink every time’. Now the permalink will remain same, but the post title will read the new way.

Conclusion

This trick is useful when you decide to use stylish titles. It can also be used to remove the unnecessary details from the permalink and project the necessary ones. A concise permalink is one tip for SEO (Search engine optimization).

Find a Sponsor For Your Blog

You might not think that your blog is big enough to find sponsors (and you might be right) but even if you’re unsuccessful in finding one you will hopefully learn a thing or two about finding sponsors and might even start a relationship that could be fruitful at some point in the future.

Getting a sponsor for your blog (or selling an advertising spot directly without relying upon an ad network like AdSense) is a great thing for numerous reasons - not the least of which is that you cut out the middleman and don’t have to share the revenue with a company like Google!

It’s not always easy to land a sponsor - but it’s a skill that bloggers wanting to make money from their blogs should learn - even in the early days.

A few tips for finding a sponsor:

1. Before you go out and start asking companies to sponsor your blog read these two posts - Finding Advertisers for your Blog and 10 Ways to make your Blog more Attractive to Advertisers. A big part of finding an advertiser is to get your blog in order first and to be prepared for what they might ask you.

2. If you have a smaller blog and haven’t had a sponsor before don’t aim for the stars straight away. It might be worth starting out by approaching smaller retailers, websites or companies in your niche and see if they’d be interested in some sort of partnership rather than aiming for the very biggest ones right up front. I did this a couple of months after starting my first digital camera blog and emailed 10 online digital camera sites to see if they’d be interested in advertising. 3 of the 10 bought small ads on my site (I think it was for something around $15-$25 a month). It wasn’t a lot of cash (and I didn’t have a lot of traffic to send to them) but I learned so much and made a little money in the process.

3. Target Potential Advertiser Carefully - before you start approaching potential sponsors think carefully about your blog and the topic that you write about and about who might want to reach your readers. Brainstorm a list of companies and websites that might fit the bill.

4. Wondering who to approach? Why not check out who is advertising on other websites and blogs in your niche. Quite often they’ll also be open to running a similar campaign with you.

5. If a sponsor isn’t sure whether to go with you or not - give them a discounted or free trial. I’ve done this a number of times and found it beneficial on three levels:

* It gives the sponsor a taste of what your blog can offer
* It can help get your readers used to the idea of advertising on your blog
* I’ve found that having one advertiser (even if it’s a free one) can actually attract other advertisers (or at least make selling sponsorships easier)
* You’ll learn a lot by getting the ad up, finding out how it converts and at a discounted rate you’ll even earn a few dollars

6. Find an Angle and Sell it - don’t just email a potential sponsor asking if they want to advertise with you - sell yourself. If your blog has a loyal community of core readers then sell this, if you get a lot of search engine traffic for certain keywords that the advertiser would want to have, sell it to them on this, if you have an audience who is researching to make purchases - this is a key selling point and if you’ve never had an advertiser before on your blog - turn this into a selling point. You need to give a potential sponsor or advertiser a reason to align their brand with yours.

7. If you can’t attract anyone - run a campaign of your own. Pick a part of your blog that you want to drive traffic to (perhaps a post, or a category, or a subscribe page) and develop a button or banner ads to drive traffic to it. I’m doing this here at the moment in the 468 x 60 banner position here at ProBlogger at the moment (there’s a number of different campaigns running there including some internal ones). The beauty of this is that you can test your conversion rates on different positions. Run a heat map test and you’ll learn a lot.

8. If you do manage to sign up a sponsor give sponsors as much value as possible. Do everything you can to over deliver on the campaign. Announce the sponsorship on the blog with a post, mention it any other newsletters or lists that you have, position it high on the page, consider throwing in a bonus text link in another part of your blog etc. The more traffic you can deliver to your sponsor the more chance of getting them to renew.

Make Your Blog More Attractive

10 Ways to make your Blog more Attractive to Advertisers

I figured he’d be a good person to ask about how to make your blog attractive to advertisers.

1. Have an “Advertise with Us” Banner on your site

This is the single most important issue. It should click to an Advertising information page and have an easy way to contact you for more information and rates. Key points: Make it a graphical image or a tab. Keep it above the fold.

2. Keep the ads on your site specific to your site

Don’t have smiley ads and wallpaper ads if your site is site is about mobile phones.

3. Show them the banners

If you currently have no paid placements on your site, put up house ads or partner ads in the same spot you would run a paid spot. (A house ad refers to banners for other products or sites that you or your company own)

4. Throw up a free bonus ad.

By putting a free advertisement on your site, you may not only encourage similar ads or competitors to that product, but the company you added for free may decide to advertise with you. Ask for full disclosure of the performance of the campaign in return. (Total clicks, total purchases etc. ) Key points. Put the free bonus up with a direct URL without tracking tags or affiliate tags.

5. Show your site stats.

You need to show at least the basics for site statical information: Monthly unique visitors and total number of impressions are the 2 key ones. Other less important can be Google PR & Alexa rank.

6. User demographic information. Know your audience.

The bare minimum is Male/Female % and average age of your readers. Other potentially useful information includes geographic, HHI, single/married, number of kids. etc. How do you get this info? You can do site polls, survey’s, or get more detailed stats from ComScore or Quantcast.com

7. Have an ‘About Us’ section.

Clearly explain who you are and what your site is about. And also why you are an ‘authority’ on what you are writing about, and why anyone should care about what you have to say.

8. Don’t use Google AdSense on your site.

OK, this could be the most painful one for most people especially if you are generating a few hundred bucks a month from it already. But Google ad sense devalues your site and makes it look unprofessional. You have to ask yourself, “Do I want some real revenue from my site or Google’s table scraps.”

9. Keep your blog on topic.

If you are all over the map in regards to topics about which you talk about, advertisers won’t know if they are a good fit for your site.

10. Keep your blog professional.

If you are talking about your cat, (Matt Cutts), ranting about your drive to work, swearing or bashing every product you can think about, it will scare away advertisers.

Tips Google Adsense

Whilst there are some amazing success stories about earning big dollars with Adsense out there, it is worth taking a realistic look at some cold hard truths about the Adsense program.
Google does not accept every site that applies to the Adsense program.

* Google Adsense
Program Policies indicate that the content of sites must not contain things like excessive profanity, pornography, illicit drugs etc. Basically your blog needs to have content that is reasonably ‘family friendly’.

* Also in their policy document is a reference to them not normally accepting pages of a personal nature. This is the topic of discussion in many Adsense forums and is obviously open to different interpretations. Many (if not most) blogs are personal in nature - however to maximize your chances of approval by Adsense a blog should be targeted on a particular topic/s. For example whilst this blog is often personal in nature - most of my individual posts (pages) focus on very specific themes which are repeated throughout the blog. update - this may have changed recently with Blogger now allowing blogger blogs to use Adsense.

* Sites accepted into the Adsense program are also required to be easily navigable, have an adequate quantity of text based content (don’t apply if you’ve been blogging a week) and be written in English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, or Spanish. They may not to have excessive advertising or other contextual/competing advertising.

* Whilst not stated in the Adsense Policy document, many also believe that sites accepted into the program also need to have reasonable levels of traffic. If your blog is new, it may be worth waiting a few weeks or months before applying to build up traffic and content levels. Others speculate that a professionally designed, well-organized and privately hosted blog has a better chance of being accepted. The more professional and successful your blog appears the more likely it is to be accepted by Adsense.

If still in doubt after reading Google Adsense Program Policies you can email Google for clarification or just apply and see how you go.

Of course, acceptance by Google into the Adsense program does not guarantee your success. The fact remains that certain blogs will always be more successful than others at generating income.

Future posts in this series will focus upon strategies and tips for increasing your revenue but it should be stated here that the most successful sites are generally sites with very high traffic levels and/or content that is directly related to a particular product or service (the more targeted and niche-like the better).

It is also worth saying that Adsense works best on pages with lots of text content. It only reads text in determining ads, not images so make sure you have enough relevant content.

List Website To Paid Blogging

A Definitive List of Paid Blogging Websites ,Make Money

paid-blogging.jpgOne of the easiest ways to make money online is to set up a blog around a specific topic of interest and generate online income from the display of advertising/affiliate programs, product sales or the provision of online services.

One formidable way of making money from blogs consists of effectively using paid blogging networks.

From an advertiser’s standpoint, blogs are simply publishing platforms which produce content that is viewable by both search engines and potential customers.

Advertisers want more exposure for their businesses and will often purchase sponsored links or written content in a bid to generate public buzz and increase their search engine visibility.

Here is where you come in. As a member of paid blogging websites, you will get paid to blog about the advertiser’s products, website or service. These advertisers will pay the blog networks directly and you’ll receive a stipulated fee when you agree to take on each specific assignment.

How do I Make Money with Sponsored Blogging websites?

The process is actually fairly simple. Start by signing up with these sponsored blogging networks and giving them the web address for your blog. Some of these networks stipulate that your blog must have of a certain age (3 months old etc.) so take note of that before applying.

Take a look at their Terms of Service and wait for your blog to be approved by the administration. This usually takes a few days. After your blog is approved, go through their marketplace (if they have one) or just wait for blogging offers to arrive at your email inbox or site dashboard.

When you decide to take up a specific offer, write a blog post according to the instructions given. Publish the post and inform the blog network of the page URL. This is usually done through a user interface after you’ve logged into the network.

After your post is approved, you’ll receive payment according to the stipulated time frame. You can earn around $5 to $500+ for one single blog post, depending on the popularity, size and niche of your blog.

Dosh Dosh’s List of 17 Sponsored Blogging Networks

Some of these networks should be well known to everyone but I’ll wanted to be as thorough as possible when developing this extensive list of paid blogging websites.

This list will be updated regularly and more paid blogging websites will be added in the future. Hopefully this will help all of you to make more money from your blogs.

1. PayPerPost

payperpost-screenshot.jpg

The largest sponsored blogging network, Payperpost offers the greatest amount of offers and has a vibrant community of bloggers who support each other through a forum. If you only want to sign up for one paid blogging network, I would highly recommend using PayPerPost above all the others.

The addition of PayperPost Direct and existing affiliate programs will extend your income potential outside of the basic marketplace structure utilized by most other networks.

2. ReviewMe

reviewme-screen.jpg

ReviewMe is basically some sort of a blog marketplace where advertisers can visit to order reviews from blogs. Some of the more ‘high-end’ or popular blogs are registered with ReviewMe and the earnings are substantially higher if your blog is well established and has a large audience. This is measured by your feed subscription base as well as the Technorati and Alexa Rank.

Bigger blogs tend to earn upwards of $100 to 700+ for each single blog post and there are a lot less restrictions and rules than Payperpost. The downside for ReviewMe is that they take a hefty 50% commission for their services, which in my opinion is too large.

3. SponsoredReview

sponsoredreviews.jpgBlog Advertising - Advertise on blogs with SponsoredReviews.com

SponsoredReview is a blog network that is somewhat similar to ReviewMe but they offer a little more functionality by allowing you to negotiate fees with the advertiser and bid for an advertiser’s offers.

SponsoredReview takes 35% commission for their services and you’ll earn anything from $10 to 500+ for each review. Their user interface is one of the better ones out there and the only drawback to their service is the lack of advertisers.

4. Blogsvertise

blogsvertise.jpgBlog Ads

Blogsvertise doesn’t have a marketplace so you can’t browse advertiser offers to select what you would like to write about. The site admins will match advertiser offers to your blog profile and you can choose to accept or reject the offers you see.

Generally, the assignments are sporadic and you’ll receive one or two of them every week if you’re lucky. They do however pay on time so that’s one of the benefits of working with Blogsvertise.

5. Blogitive

blogitive.jpg

Blogitive will pay all bloggers a flat rate of US $5 per advertiser offer, regardless of the size or popularity of the blog. One of the earliest blog networks on the scene, Blogitive seems to be gotten into a slump a few months after their launch.

They’ve recently revamped their user interface and one of the much touted Blogitive advantages is that they pay weekly via Paypal. Blogitive has a very poor collection of advertisers and that’s something that they definitely need to improve.

6. LoudLaunch

loudlaunch.jpg

LoudLaunch is a medium sized paid blogging network which features a moderate amount of advertiser offers. Your blogs need to be more than 2 months old and payment is only made via Paypal. Like Payperpost, the blogger usually needs to append a disclosure badge, tracker tag or logo or the bottom of posts.

The user interface doesn’t appeal to me and like other networks like Blogsvertise, the range of advertisers seem to be rather limited.

7. BloggerWave

bloggerwave.jpg

Based on Norway, BloggerWave’s rates for paid posts are generally around $10 for a single post. There doesn’t seem to be many restrictions and you’ll get paid via Paypal. BloggerWave has been late on payment for many bloggers and some bloggers have gone so far to suggest that they are a scam.

Apparently, they seem to have made good on their payments recently and hopefully things should go smoothly from now on for bloggers using BloggerWave.

8. Smorty

smorty.jpgBlog Advertising - Get Paid to Blog

Smorty rates for sponsored blog posts is $6 per post although this might increase if you have a high traffic or popular blog. Post approvals are generally made within a week and payment is made on a weekly basis through Paypal. There isn’t a lot of advertisers using Smorty at the moment though that might change in the future.

9. PayU2Blog

payu2blog1.jpg

PayU2Blog started a few months ago and do seem to be a work in progress. There is no actual marketplace which allows you to browse for advertiser offers and they do seem to function very much like Blogsvertise in that that’ll determine the type of assignments you will receive. Payment is made every two weeks via Paypal.

10. Blogging Ads

blogging-ads.jpg

Blogging Ads started early and recently relaunched with a new look. It’s nothing too different from Blogitive, however do note that you can only put up 10 posts per month on all your blogs and the rate for each post is usually $5. Payment is made weekly via Paypal. Blogging Ads doesn’t have a lot of advertiser offers as well.
note: Not accept blogs from blogspot.com

11. Creamaid

creamaid.jpg

CreamAid is a get paid to blog program with a twist. All bloggers of an option of displaying a widget which allows them to earn referral commission whenever another blogger picks up an offer from it.

CreamAid is more fun than the other get paid to blog websites although I think their monetary potential is weakest. Don’t expect to earn more than $5 for most offers you come across.

12. V7N Contextual

v7n-contextual.jpg

V7N Contextual is not technically a get paid to blog network because most of the time you won’t have to write a blog post. All you’ll have to do is to transform any specific keyword (eg. golf clubs) in your blog posts into a link to the advertiser’s website. All bloggers will earn $10 per link, regardless of their blog size and reach.

An important point to note is that you’ll have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which means that you can’t disclose that it was a sponsored link. I have blogs in the V7N program and have not received many offers before. Don’t count on getting too many assignments.

13. LinkWorth

linkworth.jpg

LinkWorth is a search engine marketing company that offers a variety of monetization options for bloggers. For instance, bloggers can sell contextual links within posts or write sponsored posts on specific topics.

Other interesting methods include rotating ads, in content ppc advertising as well as packaged link ads. LinkWorth gives up to 70% of the revenue for its ads and payments are made monthly through Paypal, check, direct deposit or Wire.

14. BlogtoProfit

blogtoprofit.jpg

BlogtoProfit allows you to get paid to write blog posts about each sponsor’s products/websites. This company doesn’t have a user interface or dashboard and there is no marketplace which allows you to pick or choose the offers you want. I’ve tried submitting some blogs to them before but have never gotten response from them at all. It is possible that they are not active anymore.

15. LinkyLoveArmy

linkylovearmy.jpg

LinkyLoveArmy appears to be a get paid to blog network but their website doesn’t make what they do very clear. The design is fairly cluttered and there’s no apparent FAQ or guide for bloggers who want to sign up. This appears to be a fairly small DIY setup so I wouldn’t expect too many advertiser offers from the onset.

16. InBlogAds

inblogads.jpg

InBlogAds is a hybrid network that allows you to sell text links as well as blog posts. InBlogAds started quite a while back but seems to have died. I’ve not seen any new offers available and I think they are definitely outclassed by all the other get paid to blog networks.

Although they were one of the first to integrate an advertiser and publisher account within the same dashboard, they’ve definitely fallen behind and dropped out of the race for bloggers and advertisers.

17. Dewitts Media

dewitts-media.jpg

Dewitt Media is a search marketing and website design company that’s recently launched a contextual links program. Blogs need to have a minimum Google Page Rank of 3 before they will be accepted. Rates are set at $10 per post.

Like V7N, Dewitt Media requires you to sign a NDA or Non Disclosure agreement, which forbids you from disclosing that any specific link or blog post was sponsored. There is currently no marketplace with advertiser offers though a forum might be forthcoming.

Conclusion

As I’ve mentioned in my article on how to make money blogging, paid posts are a reliable method of earning a considerable amount of money from your blog.

You don’t need a large number of daily visitors at all, although one should always keep in mind that your potential for profit increases as your blog becomes bigger and more well known.

Here’s my advice if you’re really interested in using blogs to make money: Keep a couple of blogs for paid blogging and strive to create a flagship blog that has a large audience and great reputation.

Remember that an established and popular blog usually means more monetization options and far greater money in the long run. For more tips on effective ways to make money blogging, do subscribe to Dosh Dosh’s blog feed.
